This culinary journey was extended to Tagaytay by young entrepreneurs, Augustine Roa and Aniela Tolentino, who were enthusiastic about sharing the Capampangan dishes they loved with a new audience. Today, Binulo provides a modern culinary experience with a traditional cooking approach in the heart of Tagaytay City. BINULO The word "Binulo" translates to "cook in bamboo" which refers to a traditional Filipino method of cooking food inside bamboo tubes. The bamboo tubes are cooked over an open flame and acts as a natural container which imparts a unique flavor. Binulo is regarded as a cultural and culinary tradition deeply rooted in the practices of the Aeta people.
