27th of February 2015, UBE Express Inc. was incorporated under SEC Certificate of Incorporation Company Reg. No. CS 201503782, its mission is to provide the most reliable, convenient, comfortable, safe, accessible and environmentally sensitive mode of transportation for passengers and to be the leader and the standard of modern public transportation in the Philippines.

On March 16, 2015 UBE Express started with one unit MAN Neoplan Articulated Bus and was given a special permit to operate Bus Express Service on the route Fairview, Litex/Batasan, Ayala MRT, MOA (Express Connect Route E3) by LTFRB.

On August 2015, the DOTC and the LTFRB announced the winning bid of Airfreight 2100, Inc. (AIR21) with Ube Express (UBEx), for the Airport Premium Bus project, having complied with the terms and conditions set and is mandated to commence operations on all the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) terminals.

For its part, UBEx is looking ahead (and into the future) of finally having the opportunity to take an active role in upgrading and improving the public transportation system and services in the country – one project at a time.

Now considered a new player in the public transportation sector, UBEx is banking on its mother company’s (Airfreight 2100, Inc. - AIR21) long successful corporate best practices and its owners’ strong passion to improve public transport for its maiden franchise. Air21’s advocacy is slowly becoming a reality.
